Do-It-Yourself is an adorable group of sewing novelty prints in bright, saturated colors. Pins, scissors, and cute little buttons… What’s not to love?
We’re sharing some fun project ideas today that are perfect for that special sewist in your life. Why not whip up some of these for the holidays?
First up is the Note Taker, a pattern from Pink Chalk Studio. Perfect for taking notes on the sewing patterns you’ve been using, or for doodling new quilt block ideas.
Also from Pink Chalk Studio is their Pencil Roll pattern. We can imagine using this for knitting needles and crochet hooks as well…
We are in love with these giant pincushions, and we’ve also been using them as pattern weights! This is the Biscuit pattern from Jaybird Quilts.
And finally we’ve got these adorable bags from Atkinson Designs. We’ve been cramming ours full of bobbins and pins, and the largest bag is perfect for storing our rotary cutter! The pattern is Bridget’s Bagettes.
We are loving all of the Do-It-Yourself projects we’ve seen popping up. Don’t forget to use the #dearstella hashtag when you upload photos of your projects, so we can see them too!
Do-It-Yourself is in stores & online now, so be sure to get your hands on some!
