Free Pattern // The Essential Spring Basket

Though it doesn’t quite feel like it yet, it’s officially springtime! We’re itching for brighter colors, new sewing projects, and we’re ready to get organized. Luckily we have a fun *free* pattern to help with all of these!

The Essential Spring Basket, designed by Snapdragon Studios for Dear Stella, features some of the pastel colors from Wee Gallery’s Dress Me for the Playground collection and our Net print in Smoke (in stores now). The finished size is about 9″ x 5″ x 4 1/4″. This basket has a wonderful texture, since each fabric strip is sewn to create a flap that layers on top of the previous row. We love the way the bunnies are popping out of each stripe!

The Essential Spring Basket can work anywhere in your home, from your desk top to a table centerpiece, though we’re particularly excited to use these in our sewing space. You can also stitch one up as a housewarming gift or make a festive Easter basket for the kids!

Visit the Project page or download the free pattern directly here.

We can’t wait to see your version!

Thank you so much for the Spring basket free pattern! I’ve been seeking such a one, rectangular to hold some patterns, so this is spot on. I love how the bunnies are hopping about too:)
