Shadowbox // McCall’s 6696

Shadowbox by Rae Ritchie is hitting shops this month, and today we’re sharing our first project made using this collection – a classic shirtdress!

We used M6696, a lovely shirtdress pattern from McCall’s, plus the Teeth Geo print in Slate – such a great combo! We cut the button band on the cross-grain for a fun little detail, and left it sleeveless as we’re anticipating warmer temps on the horizon. In addition to that, we left off the waistband piece – just a personal preference!

The patterns from Shadowbox work beautifully in garments, and the timeless black and white color palette never goes out of style. This dress can be worn all year round!

In case you missed it, click here to check out the rest of the collection. Which print would you use in a garment, and what would you make?

We’ll be back with a stunning *free* quilt pattern featuring Shadowbox. Stay tuned!
